One flat membership rate, plus your route's shared trip cost. Example — for a 5-mile roundtrip route: at the $0.70/mile IRS rate over 20 school days, the whole route's trip cost is $70 — split across 3 riding families, about $23 each. Your membership is separate from the trip cost-share — the gas-and-wear reimbursement that passes 100% to your driver, itemized on every invoice. The cost-share is computed at the IRS standard mileage rate ($0.70/mile) on your route's actual miles and split across the riding families, so more neighbors on the route means a smaller share for everyone. You'll see your route's exact estimated cost in the app before you ever enroll, and billing only starts when you join a live route.
